Acres of Hershey (3425
Old Hershey Rd.) is hosting an event on May 21st. Be there by 5:00 PM.
The troop has been
asked to demonstrate methods of starting fires without matches.
- Memorial
Day Parade May 25th. Meet at 9:30 am at the Elizabethtown
American Legion Post 329 parking lot just off E Summit St.
- Haldeman
Mansion Preservation Society is asking for help with parking for their
Strawberry Festival and Indian Heritage event. They can use 5 scouts
each on Saturday June 6 from 10:00 – 6:00 and Sunday
June 7 11:00 – 4:00. You will get lunch with dessert and free event
admission. You will also get service hours,which are needed for
advancement. Look for an email with a link to sign up for time slots.
- Planning
Meeting - June 1st. Bring your ideas and plans - it's your scout
year!
- Pool
Party June 8th 4:00-7:00 at Willowood Swim Club. You will also
have an opportunity to take your Summer Camp swimming test.
- Orienteering
May 16 at EAHS. Meet at the flagpole in front of the High School at
9:00 am. Bring your compass! We expect to make a day of it and go
fishing after the orienteering event.
- Troop
Trailer - On June 9th we will be unloading the old troop trailer at St.
Paul's.
News
- Whenever
you
go for a checkup please remember to update your BSA physical exam
form. The
troop needs to have this information on file for you to be eligible to
go on
outings.
- Youth
Protection Training is due by March 2026. The
course material is major revision from prior
trainings. All adult leaders connected
with the troop must take the course or a refresher annually. Log in to
your scout
account to start. The troop will be
notified
automatically when you successfully complete the course.
If the course is not completed you cannot be
re-registered as a leader.
